My Green Chair

Another piece of furniture what was I thinking!?  I bought a green vintage chair today from the Goodwill in hopes of using it as a reading area in our bedroom.  I so need a space that doesn't have all the distractions when I spend time in God's word.  Our house is only 879 sq.ft. and our current furniture is just to large for this house and certainly cannot hold another item!!
When I first saw this chair yesterday I was drawn to it right away but it seemed a little low and didn't purchase it.  When I woke this morning I was still thinking about that chair so off to the Goodwill I go in hopes that no one bought it!  My friend Tania says I have obsessive thinking which she is right because this happens all the time.  When I see something and like it I can't stop thinking about it until I buy it and this is just not with me, my older sister has the same thing. It is really annoying and sometime down right frustrating!

As you can see it was only $10.00 bucks and I thought it was a steal and it was small in size. I hope to reupholster it some day but for now I am glad there aren't any rips and stains.

So here is our poor car which we (my hubby and me) think is a truck.  We use it for every truck hauling job we need and I know it is thinking "what are they thinking I am just a little car".  Luckily this wasn't to bad but imagine for a minute a haul from Home Depot with 60, yes 60, fencing boards and 4 2x4's sticking out the back!  Yep, we do that but it hasn't failed us yet thank God.  We so miss our truck but didn't like the payment.

Here is the side view of it and is placed in our bedroom for now. Doesn't it just look comfy?  I am not sure if it will stay because I would also like it in my studio.  Well, for now the only problem I have is telling my hubby in hopes he doesn't get mad.  He is so wonderful and rarely gets mad and will probably think it was perfect but I still worry about it.

Oh, I almost forgot when I was getting ready to bring it in the house a neighbor asked if I was throwing it away because he would like it if we were!!  He said it is real nice, I just had to laugh and thought yes it is real nice and glad I bought it.
So cheers to me for getting it into the house without a problem since I have been sore with moving furniture around the last few days and really need to give my old body a break. Thanks for stopping buy and letting me share my newest love with you.

It's in wonderful condition! Love the price too!
It was fun to hear about it today on the phone, we both seem to get ourselves into little adventures! Thanks
